What is Look & Feel?

Look & Feel controls your workspace logo and brand colors for the Atender agent UI — separately from the customer-facing surfaces, which each have their own branding.

What is Look & Feel?

Look & Feel is where you set the workspace logo and brand colors that style the Atender agent UI — the screens your team sees while working in conversations. It lives at Settings → Look & Feel and requires the Look & Feel permission.

What you can change here

There are two things to configure, and a preview pane to check them.

Workspace logo. A single image (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, or SVG, up to 5 MB) that shows up in the workspace switcher in the top-left of the app and as the browser tab favicon. There’s no separate favicon upload — the same logo is reused.

Brand colors. A primary color (default #2CACA0 — Atender teal) and an optional accent color. Atender automatically derives matching dark-mode variants from your light-mode picks, and you can manually override the dark variants if the auto-derivation doesn’t match your brand.

The preview pane underneath shows buttons, badges, tabs, hover states, and message bubbles using your selections — toggle between Light and Dark to see both.

Where these settings take effect

Your Look & Feel choices style the agent UI itself: the sidebar, buttons, selected tabs, focus rings, chart accents, and hover/active states. That’s it. Look & Feel doesn’t push your branding to customer-facing surfaces — each of those has its own branding configuration:

  • The Web Chat widget has its own brand color (set on the widget’s settings).
  • The Knowledge Base portal has its own branding system (Knowledge Base → Layout & Branding) with separate logo, header background, link color, and dark-mode overrides.
  • The public Incidents / status page has its own logo and primary color.
  • Email Studio templates carry logos at the block level — each email template can include its own header logo.
  • The CSAT survey uploads its own logo via a separate upload.

This separation is deliberate: the agent UI is for your team, and the customer-facing surfaces are configured where they ship from. If you want a consistent brand across all of them, you’ll need to set the logo and colors on each one.

What Look & Feel doesn’t include

A few things tenants sometimes expect to be here that aren’t:

  • Custom fonts. Atender uses its own typography across the app — you can’t swap the font family.
  • Custom CSS. There’s no stylesheet override.
  • Per-user or per-team theming. Look & Feel is tenant-wide. Everyone in the tenant sees the same logo and colors.
  • Light/dark mode toggling for individual users. The OS-level light/dark preference handles that automatically; the dark-mode colors you set are what individual agents see when their system is in dark mode.
